Team India created history by winning a series on Australian soil for the first time after 87 years. India performed incredibly in all the three departments to clinch the four-match series 3-1. With this victory, Virat Kohli became the first ever captain to achieve the remarkable feat. In the four-match test series, India was leading by 2-1 and Austalia had a chance to level the series in the fourth test but it ended as the draw. The final fifth day of the fourth Test match was yet again washed away after a delay in start due to rain. Australia were 6/0 in their second innings after following on, trailing by 316 runs as the match ended in a draw. Earlier, Guest team was dominating the fourth test at Sydney right from day 1. The test was thoroughly dominated by Indian bowlers who made a mockery of the Australian batting line-up bundling the hosts for 300 runs in their first innings before captain Kohli decided to enforce the follow-on. Kuldeep Yadav completed a stunning fifer, his first on Australian soil which came in his debut Test match in Australia. He dismissed five Australian Batsmen by giving just 90 runs.
