New Delhi: Around 24 lakh people have been caught by the Corona virus so far in the country. The fastest infection in the world is spreading in India. In the last 24 hours, Corona records 67 thousand new patients were recorded and 942 people lost their lives. The pace of increase in corona cases in the country also remains at the first position in the world. There have been 54,345 and 58,081 new case reports in the US and Brazil in the past day respectively. Earlier on August 9, a record 64,399 cases were reported in the country. According to the latest data of the Health Ministry, 23 lakh 96 thousand 637 people have become victims of Corona virus so far in the country. Out of these, 47,033 people have died, while 6 lakh 53 are active cases and 16 lakh 95 thousand people have also become healthy. It is a matter of relief that mortality and active cases have declined. The death rate also dropped to 1.96%. Apart from this, the rate of active cases which are continuing treatment has also come down to 27.27%. With this, the recovery rate i.e. the recovery rate has become 70.76%. The recovery rate in India is continuously increasing. In the country, more than seven lakh samples have been tested in a single day, increasing the capacity of investigation for Coronavirus and so far more than 2.65 crore samples have been tested. The ministry said that the number of investigations is increasing rapidly in one day and more than six lakh samples are being examined every day in India for the past several days.
