New Delhi: In the cases of Corona epidemic, less than 40 thousand new cases have been registered in the country for the sixth consecutive day. It is a matter of relief that the pace of infection seems to be slowing down in the country. In the last 24 hours, there has been 36,594 new corona cases in the country while 540 patients have died.
The total number of deaths from Corona in the country has now reached 1,39,188. According to the data released by Health Ministry till 04 December, there are 4,16,082 active cases in the country at the moment, while 90,16,289 patients have returned home after recovering from the infection. A total of 11,70,102 tests were conducted across the country on Friday, of which 36,594 people have been found positive. 42,916 patients recovered and discharged as well, due to which the recovery rate of the country is now 94.20 percent.
With this, some improvement has been noticed in the state of infection in the capital of Delhi. 85,003 were tested on Friday 04 December, out of which 4,067 people were tested positive. With the death of 73 patients, the death toll from Corona in Delhi has reached 9,497. According to information released by the Delhi Health Department, a total of 5,86,125 infection cases have been reported in the capital so far, out of which 5,48,376 patients have recovered. With this, the recovery rate in the capital has been 93.55 percent and the total active cases are now 28,252.
