Ind Vs Eng: 3rd T20 to be played in Ahmedabad today, match to be played in empty stadium

New Delhi: The third T20 match between India and England will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad from 7 PM today. The match will be played at the empty stadium once again in the city due to the rise in coronavirus cases. Earlier, 50% of the spectators were allowed to visit the stadium in both T20. According to the report, more than 40,000 tickets had already been sold for the match. The ticket money will now be refunded to those viewers.

The two teams have played against each other 16 times in this format so far. Both teams have won eight each match. On Indian ground, England has played a total of eight matches against Team India so far, winning four matches and losing four matches. The match will be played in the empty stadium due to the rise of corona cases in Ahmedabad once again.

In fact, the Gujarat Cricket Association has decided that the remaining three matches of the T20 series will now be played without spectators. Earlier, 50% of the spectators were allowed to visit the stadium in both matches. According to the report, about 60,000 people had arrived to watch the stadium match in the second T20 played on February 14. In the first T20, about 50,000 spectators visited the stadium. The series is currently on par with 1-1 and both teams will want to lead by winning today's match.
