India hockey squad announced for Rio Olympics

Rio Olympics is the goal for all the athletes and sports player, and in the midst 4 girls from Orrisa found place in the Indian Women’s hockey team to chase Rio Olympics.

Deep Grace Ekka, Namita Toppo, Lilima Minz, and Sunita Lakra from Odisha announced to represent the national team in the Olympics which will be played in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from August 5 to 21.

Meanwhile, the Sports minister Sudam Marandi announced 50 thousand rupees incentives each for the four Odia players for finding a place in the National team for Rio Olympics. The Indian women’s team had last qualified for the Olympics in 1980 when they finished a commendable fourth.
