Coronavirus vaccine made in India! ICMR and NIV jointly prepared it

New Delhi: The entire world is struggling badly with the global epidemic corona virus. The discovery of this virus vaccine is going on all over the world. At the same time, with the cooperation of Bharat Biotech, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and National Institute of Virology (NIV) has prepared the corona vaccine. This inactivated vaccine is prepared from a strain of the infectious SARS-cov-2 virus.

In this process of vaccine preparation, the SARS-CoV-2 strain has been isolated from the National Institute of Virology and transferred to Bharat Biotech. DCGI has allowed trials on vaccine humans for the first and second stages. Its trial has started from July. The purpose of human trials is to know whether this vaccine is safe, rather than how effective it is.

Let us tell you that earlier Russia's Sechnov First Moscow State Medical University has claimed to make the world's first coronavirus vaccine. The university has successfully completed all clinical trials of the vaccine. On 18 June, the university began clinical trials of the vaccine produced by the Gamely Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Russia.
