These measures will be in effect from 11 am to 12 am on match days, allowing fans to relish the thrilling action without hindrance. Key road closures will include the stretch from Janpath T to Motera main gate, as well as Krupa Residency T to Motera T. To circumvent these closures, spectators are encouraged to utilize alternative routes. One such route involves navigating from Tapovan Circle to ONGC Char Rasta to Visat T, before finally reaching Janpath T, leading to Powerhouse Char Rasta and Prabodh Raval Circle. Meanwhile, those approaching from Krupa Residency can take the Sharan Status Char Rasta, followed by Koteshwar Road and Apollo Circle, to reach the stadium hassle-free. In an effort to accommodate the influx of cricket fans and ensure their convenient commute, the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) has extended its metro service timings by three hours on match days. Additionally, train frequency in Ahmedabad will be heightened to enhance accessibility. "Presently, Metro Train services operate in Ahmedabad from 6:20 am to 10:00 pm at a frequency of 12 minutes throughout the day," announced GMRC in a press release, as reported by Gujarat Samachar. "In light of the scheduled World Cup cricket matches at Narendra Modi Stadium, Motera, metro trains shall be available from 6.20 am to 1.00 am, providing an extended window for fans to travel to and from the stadium."
