India win the lone T20I against Sri Lanka by seven wickets

The Men in Blue yesterday at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo played a match with the Srilankan team.  India won the toss and chose to field in the lone T20I. Due to the rain, the match was delayed for half an hour.

The Srilankan team while batting first in 20 overs at the loss of seven wickets made 170 runs, giving a target of 171 runs to the Indian cricket team.

The Indian player with their performance in just 19.2 overs chased the target and made 174 runs at the loss of 3 wickets.

Rohit Sharma scored 9, Lokesh Rahul scored 24 runs. The Indian skipper played a brilliant 82-run knock off just 54 balls. Manish Pandey, who brought his first T20I fifty (51*) supported Kohli.

India, which had remained unbeaten throughout the tour after whitewashing the hosts in the three-match Test series 3-0 before completing a 5-0 triumph in the ODIs, routing in the lone T2oI and making it 9-0 on the tour.
