Ind Vs Aus: This player of Team India gets emotional while singing national anthem

New Delhi: Team India's fast bowler Mohammad Siraj got emotional while singing the national anthem ahead of the third Test match being played with Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Thursday. Siraj tried to stop his tears, but he could not stop. He later appeared wiping tears with both hands. A short video of it has been posted on the cricket handle of cricket.com au.

Former Team India opener Wasim Jaffer tweeted, reacting to this, writing that even if there is a spectator on the field or a less audience, there is nothing bigger than playing for India. A great player said that you play not for the audience but for the country.

Siraj made the long format debut of the Boxing Day Test played at Melbourne Cricket Ground (SCG) and helped the team win by taking five wickets. Team India came to Australia in November. Siraj's father died almost a week after this. He was given the option of returning to India but decided to stay in Australia.
