Indian cyclist, who received honor from US President is forced to live life of anonymity

Rajbir Singh, a cyclist of village Siad Rada Sahib, who won two golds in the Special Olympics, is forced to live a life of oblivion. The Punjab government never took any information about this player who received the honor from US President Barack Obama and did not provide him full honors nor any job. Although the central government has fulfilled its promise.

This is to say that Balbir Singh, father of Rajbir Singh, who brightened India's name in America. Balbir Singh, who works as a mason, told in his statement that Rajbir had won two gold medals in cycling first in Punjab, then at the national level in Chennai, Jaipur, and Bhopal. In the year 2015, in the Special Olympics Summer World Sports tournament held in America, two golds were won in 100 meters and 400 meters. On this victory, Rajbir Singh was honored by US President Barack Obama.

When the winning player returned from America, he had a grand reception in Malaud and CM Prakash Singh Badal announced to give him one lakh rupees and government job as a reward. For this amount, he had to repeatedly visit the government offices, then he got 51 thousand rupees but nothing was found after that. Last year, when the matter of not receiving the prize money rose to Rajbir, CM Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted and asked him to give the remaining amount and job. Now a year has passed but neither the remaining amount was received, nor was the job available.
