Indian employers globally most optimistic in hiring says Employment Survey

Indian companies are rated fourth the most optimistic globally in hiring candidates for future positions but the supply of job seekers will be low compared to last year statistics, says survey.

The survey released by Manpower Group name "Employment Outlook Survey", took a sample size of 4,389 employees across India projected a hike of 18 percent in their staffing numbers. In terms of Global report, the most optimistic hiring plans came from Taiwan where 24 percent employers are bullish about their future recruitment plans, following Japan by 23 percent and Slovenia by 22 percent in the second & third positions, respectively.

According to the survey, there are signs of bullishness in all the seven industry sectors in the coming quarter & the strongest signs of hiring is seen in the service sector with net employment outlook of 22 percent. however, on the year-on-year basis, the hiring outlook has seen a declined in all the seven sectors.

Regional forecast came from the south, where the employment outlook rose to 29 percent. In the North and the West steady payroll gains are expected, with hiring outlooks of 18 percent & 15 percent, and for the East the outlook stood at 12 percent.
