Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh, who coordinated with Kuwaiti authorities for the repatriation process, was on board the aircraft.

Kerala Revenue Minister K. This decision was made during a special Cabinet meeting, as a majority of the victims hailed from Kerala.
