Government to bring back all Indians stranded in different countries

New Delhi: Due to the corona lockdown, the central government is going to take a big step for the Indians trapped in many countries of the world. Indians will be brought back to India in a planned manner. The process of bringing Indians back home will begin from May 7. The government has made it clear that Indians returning from abroad have to pay air fares.

The government has said that Indians will be screened before returning home. It will be mandatory for Indians to register on the Arogya Setu App. Let me know that a large number of Indians are caught abroad. Only in UAE more than 1.5 lakh Indians are stranded. The central government will bring home the stranded Indians in Gulf countries, Iran and nearby countries. Indian citizens stranded in America and Britain will also be brought back.

Indian Embassies and High Commissions have prepared a list of Indians stranded here. This facility will be on payment basis i.e. Indians will have to pay airfare. Passengers will be screened before boarding the flight. During the journey, all passengers will have to follow the health-related protocol, rules issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
