Government to start this special scheme, Money will be credited in your account every month

New Delhi: Coronavirus (Covid-19) seems to have a clear impact on business worldwide. The international economy is entering a recession. Due to which the Indian economy is also being affected. Companies are being asked to shut down due to the virus. So that people can be protected from infection. Employed people have been asked to work from home if they can. But there are many tasks which are difficult to do at home.

People are also afraid of losing their jobs. In such a situation, it is being told that the government can start Universal Basic Income (UBI) to help those affected by the coronavirus. According to a Live Mint report, sources say that if a scheme like Universal Basic Income starts in India, it could take the form of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, money is transferred to the bank account of the farmers.

Those who supported it include Shamika Ravi, a former member of PM Modi's Economic Advisory Council and Director of Research at Brookings India, who tweeted on Tuesday about the importance of UBI in India.
