Now corona test will be possible in every village, Health Minister launches mobile lab

New Delhi: Amidst the ever increasing cases of corona virus in the country, efforts are being made to speed up testing. On Thursday, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has launched a mobile lab. Which will be used in corona testing, this lab will be able to test in any area. This is the first laboratory of its kind in the country. According to the information, in this mobile lab, 25 tests of corona virus can be done with RT-PCR technique, 300 tests with ELISA technique. Apart from this, some tests related to TB and HIV can also be done. The mobile lab has been developed with modern facilities.

According to the government, these labs will be used for places where there is no lab facility. That means it can also be used in villages and towns. During this, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that there was only one laboratory in our country in February, but today we have 953 labs. Of these, about 700 labs are government, so now the corona virus tests will be more in the country. Regarding this mobile lab, the Union Minister said that they will be used for testing in remote areas. Significantly, a total of 63 lakh tests of corona virus have been done in the country so far, in the last twenty-four hours, there have been almost two lakh tests in the country.

The target has been kept by ICMR that around three lakh tests should be done daily in the country by the end of June. Right now, about one and a half million tests are being conducted everyday. In a meeting with the Chief Ministers, PM Narendra Modi had also said to emphasize on testing.
