New Delhi: So far, over 1.14 crore doses of corona vaccine have been applied to health and front line workers in the country. This information has been given by the Union Ministry of Health. As of 6 pm Monday, 75,40,602 health workers and 38,83,492 frontline personnel have been administered 1,14,24,094 doses of the vaccine in 2,44,071 sessions. The ministry said 64,25,060 health workers have been given the first dose of the vaccine, while 11,15,542 health workers have been given the second dose of the vaccine. The first dose of vaccine has been applied to the front line workers. The nationwide vaccination campaign was started on 16 January last year. The vaccine was first introduced to health workers. From February 2, front-line personnel have also been vaccinated. A total of 3,07,238 doses of the vaccine have been given until 6 pm Monday, the 38th day of the nationwide vaccination campaign. Four states and union territories - Lakshadweep, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan - have vaccinated 75% of registered health and frontline personnel for the first dose. Eight states and union territories have vaccinated 75% of health workers registered for the first dose. These include Bihar, Tripura, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
