There are many countries in the world against China at this time. The coronavirus and then the Indo-China border dispute have become more heated. There is talk of boycott of Chinese companies on social media. The Indian Railways has also canceled the contract awarded to the Chinese company. Apart from this, BSNL and MTNL have also been asked not to take help of Chinese companies for 4G expansion. Whenever there is talk of boycott of China, Chinese mobile companies are first on target. This is also happening this time. According to Counterpoint Research, between January and March, 81 percent of phone sales in India were sold by Chinese companies. Companies like Micromax and Lava account for just one per cent of India's mobile market, but if Indian companies take advantage of the #vocalforlocal movement, they may return to the market again. Now the question is that if the Chinese mobile companies are completely boycotted then what are the mobile companies of India that can take their place. Micromax Till 2017-18, the domestic company Micromax had a strong hold in the Indian mobile market. People used to buy from Micromax's features to smartphones, but after the domination of Chinese companies, Micromax stopped its mobile business in a way. Now amidst the protests from China, the company has responded to a user's question on Twitter, saying that it is ready to return and soon three new smartphones will be launched in the market, one of which will be a budget phone, another will be mid range and third. The phone will be premium, although the company has not given the model number nor has it given information about where the parts will be supplied for the Made in India phone. Micromax is using the #MadeByIndian and #MadeForIndian hashtags for its upcoming phones, although the company has not informed whether its phones are made in India or have been made with the help of a Chinese company. Lava International Lava is the leading mobile company in India after Micromax. According to reports, Lava is also preparing to introduce its new smartphone soon. The upcoming Lava smartphone has been spotted on the benchmark site Geekbench with the Z66 model number, from where many of its features have been reported. According to the listing, users will get support of HD display, Android 10, 3 GB RAM and UNISOC processor in this smartphone. Apart from this, this leading smartphone of Lava has got 153 points in single core and 809 in multi core on the site. However, Lava has not yet shared official information related to the launch of this smartphone. Talking about the journey of lava in India, the company was started in 2009. Later the company also introduced its subbrand Xolo under which many cheap smartphones were introduced. By the year 2019, there were a total of more than 10 thousand employees in the company. Karbonn Mobiles Although there are no Karbonn smartphones in the market at the moment, but now news is coming that the company is going to take entry in the smartphone market soon. According to ET reports, Karbonn Mobile will launch the smartphone for 10 thousand rupees. Explain that Karbonn has a good hold in the feature phone market. The company is doing about 8-10 lakh feature phones in India every year. Intex Intex is the oldest mobile company in India but the company has been missing from the market since 2018. The company was founded in 1996. At one time, Intex had a hold in both the smartphone and feature phones market, but for the last two years, the company has not launched any smartphone market. There has been no report on the company's return to the market, even amid China's protests and the #vocalforlocal movement. The dependence of all the mobile companies of India has been on China till now as mobile parts are not produced in India. It now remains to be seen where the Indian mobile companies are seeking parts to return to the market. Vietnam may be the new home for mobile parts after China.
