Indian officer and his wife refused from meeting Indian Pilgrims in Pakistan

According to a recent incident which took place in Pakistan, Indian high commissioner Ajay Bisaria and his wife on Friday were stopped from entering the Gurdwara Panja Sahib, to meet the Indian pilgrims, which was at a two hours’ driving distance from Islamabad. The incident has led India to revolt into a protest. The Bisaria couple and Indian officials had obtained all the necessary permission from the Pakistani Ministry but were forced to return from the Gurudwara  Pakistan’s foreign ministry. It is not the first time that the Indian officials have been refused from meeting the Indian pilgrims in Pakistan.  India's Foreign Ministry has summoned Pakistan’s deputy high commissioner Syed Haider Shah to register a protest and also, Islamabad has been warned against igniting the Khalistan secessionist movement. Previously on April 14 also, when the Indian pilgrims visited for the Baisakhi, the Indian officials were reportedly refused from carrying out their rituals. According to the officials, Pakistan does not let the pilgrims to be visited by anybody from India since they intend to brainwash them and convince them for supporting the Khalistan Movement.
