India's new policy for vehicles- 'End Of Life'

The Indian government is designing new policy for scrapped vehicles, to replace scrapped old cars with the modern ones. The new Indian policy is called 'end of life' of vehicles, which will be announced in few months.

Heavy Industries secretary Girish Shankar, while talking about the new policy said, "We had invited objections and suggestions from the public and now we have compiled all of them and the final version (of the policy) is almost ready, Very soon, it will be accepted by the government. "

Shankar informed more about policy saying, "We are not banning any iconic or vintage vehicles to be kept. What we are saying is based on age, if someone wants to dispose of and buy a new vehicle, so there will an incentive for doing that."
