Video: Complete train can be cleaned in a few minutes, water also save, Indian Railways bring this amazing machine

New Delhi: Indian Railways has developed a unique method for cleaning train coaches. In fact, railways have started cleaning train coaches from the automatic coach washing plant. This will save hours of time and also curb wastage of large quantities of water. At the same time, the new system will make railway coaches shining. Interestingly, the entire train, i.e., 24 bogies will be cleaned only for 7 to 8 minutes.

According to Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, the use of this automatic coach washing plant at Saharsa station in Bihar has already started. A 30-30,000 litre efficient treatment plant (ETP) has also been installed at Saharsa with automatic coach washing plant. The treatment plant will recycle the wasted water after cleaning, allowing the water to be reused.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal shared the video of cleaning of train bogies on social media and wrote, "Continuous steps are being taken by Indian Railways to conserve cleanliness and environment, an example of which the automatic coach washing plant started at Saharsa station in Bihar. The washing of the 24-coach train is completed in 7-8 minutes, with less water," he said.
