Mumbai: Sensex continues to decline. In afternoon trading, the Sensex broke down to 3140 points. At 2 pm, the Sensex was down 2350.23 points to 33,347.17. The Nifty was trading at 9,719.80 points, down 738.60 points. In the Sensex, 2186 companies have registered a fall, while 175 companies have an increase in shares. Shares of 1,106 companies have reached a one-year low. Shares of 500 companies have a lower circuit. The 3140-point weakness is the Sensex's biggest drop in intraday trading to date. The Sensex had lost 2467 points in intraday trade on Monday. The Nifty also reached 9746 points with a weakness of 701.90 points. This is the lowest level in the past 31 months of the Nifty. Vodafone-Idea shares are seeing a boom on the BSE, while Spice Jet, Glenmark shares are trading in the red mark. Out of the 2,087 stocks traded on the BSE, 1873 companies declined. Sensex rolled down 1900 points Shares of 783 companies on the NSE have fallen to a one-year low due to the sharp fall in the market. The companies that went to a one-year low include Reliance, TCS, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Auto, HPCL, ITC, L&T and SpiceJet.
