Indian cricket team election started amid Corona crisis

He has given the responsibility of the opener to Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly. For the number three, he has given place to Rohit Sharma, who has scored three double centuries in one day cricket.

He has given the captaincy of this team to Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He has selected current captain Virat Kohli for number four and Yuvraj Singh for fifth position. While under his captaincy, Kapil Dev, who made India the world champion for the first time, has also got a place in the team.
