Weather forecast predicts rain in mid-December for these states

New Delhi: Cold wave conditions are now on the rise in the plains and low lying areas since the intense cold wave conditions is observed in the hills. Light rain and hail are expected somewhere. According to the department, rain is likely to occur in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan on Friday and Saturday. In Madhya Pradesh, a light drizzle was seen in the capital Bhopal this morning, which can also be continued till tomorrow.

On Friday and Saturday, the hilly areas are expected for snowfall. According to the weather department, there may be snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In Delhi, there may be mild rain between Friday night and Saturday morning. In Rajasthan, the cold wave is still comparatively low. There is not much change in the temperature of the night and day. Earlier, scientists claimed that the impact of La-Nina would be a strong cold this time, but now the anti-cyclone system is preventing the cold winds coming from the north, so the Western disturbance is not fully active.

According to the India Meteorological Department, there may be rain in Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur and Nawintown in Punjab. The minimum temperature in Punjab is running above five degrees over the average degree. In Haryana, light rain is likely to be for two days. On December 13-14, there may be deep fog in many areas.
