Kulbhushan Jadhav case: Foreign Ministry say, 'We are committed to save him'

New Delhi: The spokesperson of the Indian Foreign Ministry has said , "We will use our legal powers to save the life of Kulbhushan Jadhav. We are committed to save him".Pakistan claimed a day ago that Jadhav has refused to file a review petition. A Foreign Ministry spokesman said that we have come to know that there has been a claim by Pakistan that Kulbhushan Jadhav has refused to file a review petition. Jadhav is far- reachable by Pakistan. India is using all legal options to save Jadhav.

Earlier, when questioned in the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav that who was jailed in Pakistan, the spokesman of the Ministry of External Affairs said that we are trying through diplomatic means to implement the ICJ's decision in Jadhav's case fully and effectively. On the claim of Jadhav's refusal to file a review petition, the Ministry of External Affairs also said that this is a series of deception going on for the last four years.

He said that Jadhav was sentenced to death after a mock trial. He is in possession of the Pak Army. He has been directly forced to refuse to file a review. The ministry said that India has demanded unrestricted access to Jadhav so that the options that he has can be discussed.
