India's tallest Tricolour flag hoisted at Attari border

At Amritsar’s Attari India-Pakistan border the India’s tallest tricolour flag was hoisted on Sunday which is 360 feet high, 120 feet in length and 80 feet in breadth. The flag can be seen from the Pakistan side as well.

The inauguration on Sunday afternoon was attended by BJP minister Anil Joshi. The flag is made of parachute material. The cost of the project is said to be around of Rs 3.5 crore.

Mr Joshi as per the sources news said  “As I grew up, I used to listen to Saare jahan se accha, Hindustan hamara. I could not become an Armyman, but I thought we should do something that could make Armymen and the nation proud. I feel proud that that such a project has been dedicated to the nation and patriots.”
