Many private companies have suffered in the lockdown. Private airline company IndiGo will cut the salaries of its senior employees from May. Apart from this, in May, June and July, some employees will also be sent on 'graded limited salary without pay'. The company has sent an e-mail to its employees in this regard. There is a lockdown in the country from 25 March to prevent the spread of corona infection. Due to this, the movement of people is banned. Due to this the aviation industry is also suffering heavy losses. In an e-mail about the matter, the company's Chief Executive Officer Ranjay Dutta said, "In March and April, full salaries of employees have been paid." Now we have no option left except to implement the originally announced pay cut from May 2020. On March 19, IndiGo announced a cut in salaries of senior officers. But keeping in mind the government's appeal, it withdrew it on 23 April. Apart from this, Datta said that, along with the pay cut, we will send people on limited leave without pay in May, June and July in a hierarchical manner. At the same, he said that these holidays without pay will be between one and a half days to five days according to the category of employees. In this entire process, we will take care that there is no impact on our 'A' category employees, who are also the largest part of our workforce. According to the policy announced by the company on March 19, Dutta will cut his salary by the maximum of 25 percent. At the same time, the salaries of other senior officers are to be cut in a hierarchical manner.
