IndiGo to fly daily service connecting Gwalior with Indore, Delhi from Sept 1: Scindia

With Jyotiraditya Scindia as aviation minister, Madhya Pradesh is on well running mode. Less than three days after taking charge, Scindia announced eight more flights for the state, six of them to and from the historic city of Gwalior, his bastion.

On Friday, Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia that Budget carrier IndiGo will start daily flights connecting Gwalior with Indore in Madhya Pradesh and Delhi from September 1 onwards.  Earlier on Thursday, Scindia had flagged off IndiGo's Bareilly-Mumbai flight that would operate under regional connectivity scheme UDAN.

Taking to a twiter note, '' he said on Twitter, Union Aviation Minister noted: - ''IndiGo will start daily flights from Madhya Pradesh from September 1: Delhi-Gwalior-Delhi; Gwalior-Indore-Gwalior; Indore-Gwalior-Indore; Gwalior-Delhi-Gwalior, Under the guidance of our visionary Prime Minister, the Ministry of Civil Aviation is determined to facilitate the movement of citizens across the country and give wings to their development.''
