Indore: Thief steals Rs 4L worth of mobiles from shop

Thieves targeted a mobile store in Old Palasia area, Indore, and decamped with cash and mobile phones worth Rs 4 lakh from there in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. A man was captured in the CCTV installed in the shop and the police have started a search for the accused.

According to the police, the incident took place at the shop owned by Abhishek Pahadiya. The thief entered the shop after breaking open the lock and decamped with cash and mobile phones from there. Abhishek said that he had closed the store at around 9.45 pm. The next day, his neighboring shop owner informed him about the incident. He reached there when found that the lock was broken and the empty boxes of mobile phones were there.

Abhishek said that Rs 50,000 and mobile phones worth Rs 4,00,000 were stolen from the shop. A man was captured on CCTV. His face is clear and the police assured the complainant that the accused will be arrested soon. Police said that only one person was captured in the CCTV so it was believed that he was alone. However, the CCTVs installed outside are also being examined to know if the thief had any accomplices.
