JAPAN: The Ministry of Defence has proudly announced that INS Kadmatt, engaged in a long-range operational assignment across the North Pacific Ocean, has made port in Yokosuka, Japan, for an essential Operational Turnaround (OTR). This strategic move marks a significant milestone for the Indian Navy, coinciding with the forthcoming celebration of India's Navy Day amidst the Indian diaspora in Yokosuka on December 4. Scheduled from December 2 to 5, the visit encompasses a series of meticulously planned activities onboard, aimed at fostering meaningful engagements. These initiatives include insightful onboard visits, fostering professional dialogues, and engaging in community welfare programs, as highlighted in the press release.
