New Delhi:- Instagram may have thought about giving more importance to Verified users on their app, just like a feature on Twitter. This was found in the code of the Instagram app. Based on what reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi has discovered, both the iOS and Android Instagram apps now have a new feed filter. This filter will show "Meta Verified" subscribers along with the chronological Following and Favorites feeds that Instagram added last year. Instagram said they are not testing this new feature. The company refused to say if they were working on the feature internally or if they had thought about it but chose not to go ahead with it. However, Paluzzi says that the feature was included in the Android app (version 296. 00016) that was released on August 4th, and in the iOS app (version 295. 0) that was released recently. We're not sure if Meta will proceed with having a filter exclusively for Verified creators, but we think it could be a good idea. Probably, this kind of feed would mostly have posts made by the people who create content. These users get special benefits like protection from impersonation, direct help from customer support, special stickers, 100 stars every month to help other creators, and the highly sought-after blue checkmark. This blue checkmark is also shown on Instagram's new app, Threads. By including "Meta Verified" as a filter choice on Instagram, the company would give creators a chance to be more easily seen. People who regularly use Instagram’s filters for their feed may now have the option to look at posts from their favorite creators rather than just their friends' posts. Twitter Blue, also known as X Premium, offers special features to enhance subscribers' posts. These features include a Verified tab in users' Notifications, limited ads, an edit button, support for longer posts, and more. Paluzzi found the new filter and shared on X how the Meta Verified drop-down appears. Right now, it shows up as the third choice in the list of filters for your feed. You can tell it apart because there is a checkmark next to it.
