The statement of the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has come out. (IAMAI) Associate Organization (PCI) and Fintech Convergence Council (FCC) are jointly organizing a huge Global Global Fintech Festival. This two-day festival will be held on 22 and 23 July 2020. The Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Finance and Government of India are the presenting partners of the event. The event is also supported by the World Bank and the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF). The purpose of the Global Fintech Festival has been revealed. The objective of this festival is to re-establish India's leadership in the world of financial technologies in the post-Covid-19 world. Virtualizing a large global event will also prove to be a milestone in India's digital transformation. The theme of the two-day Virtual Fest is based on Covid-19. The festival is to be held on 22 and 23 July 2020. The festival will also discuss topics like digital payments, digital lending, digital insurance, data management, financial inclusion, digital transformation, crypto and blockchain. The festival will also discuss strengthening of the main pillars of Fintech so that this sector can be taken forward. More than 5,000 delegates are expected to participate in this festival with over 100 speakers from over 20 countries. Along with regulators, leading financial institutions, industrial organizations and corporates, students will also participate in the festival.
