iPhone 14's design won smartphone lovers' hearts

Apple launched the cheapest 5G iPhone on March 8. After which Apple's launch event is scheduled to take place in September, where the company is going to launch the iPhone 14 series. Last time it was revealed that this year the notch is also going to be replaced with a punch-hole setup and now, Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants is also revealing that the notch is actually being replaced by a punch-hole, but not for all models. i.e. only getting to see the same changes in the Pro Modal.

The iPhone 14 Pro will be in the model pill shape: Now let's take a look at the actual timeline of when we're going to see the punch-hole panel on the iPhones. Young revealed that the iPhone 14 series is going to get both a notch display and dual punch-hole. The notch will be for the iPhone 14, while the 14 Pro model is going to get dual punch-holes (a mix of pill-shape holes and punch-holes).

All models of the iPhone 15 will get pill shape: Let us tell you that the iPhone 15 series, which is scheduled to take place in 2023, is going to have a pill-shape hole + a punch-hole completely. Along with which, the punch-hole and pill can be smaller to 15. In particular, the iPhone 14 Pro and the upcoming 15 Series models are spoken for 2 hole face ID integration and apparently for the cameras. This hole in the pill shape will have to try to create a Face ID module at the bottom of the display while displaying the actual screen. This can be achieved by using different patterns, drilling the backside laser to the cathode in oled or with more transparent material for performance.

Nothing on the under-display camera right now: Interestingly, Young revealed that the latter method has already been taken into account and is also beginning to be produced on a large scale. However, never expect an under-display Face ID, apple may take some time to implement it. So, not on the 14 Pro, and keep it on the iPhone 15 series is a question.

Along with the under-display Face Eid, a previous report by Mark Gurman had shown that Apple was likely to bring an under-display fingerprint reader and it has surpassed the technology as well, but the company was not happy with the final design and therefore, Apple has also canceled the design altogether.
