New Delhi: IPL royal challengers Bangalore (RCB) has suffered another major setback before the beginning of IPL 2021. RCB player Daniel Sams has been found corona positive. Daniel Sams is the second player after RCB's opening batsman Devdutt Padikkal to fall victim to corona. They have been placed in isolation after being corona positive. RCB tweeted from his official Twitter account that Daniel Sams was infected with corona. He was earlier examined when he reached the hotel. During this time his report came negative. This is considered a big blow for RCB as Sams will no longer be able to play in the opening several matches. Daniel Sams has played four T20 matches for Australia. He has played three IPL matches for the Delhi Capitals. Sams was released by Delhi Capitals this year after which RCB bought him at auction. The IPL begins on April 9. The first match will be played between Mumbai and Bangalore (MI Vs RCB). The first match will begin at 7.30 pm. While Rohit Sharma will take charge of the team for Mumbai, RCB will take the field under Virat Kohli. Official Statement: Daniel Sams checked into the team hotel in Chennai on April 3rd, with a negative COVID report on arrival. His report from the 2nd test on 7th April came positive. Sams is currently asymptomatic and he is currently in isolation at a designated medical facility. — Royal Challengers Bangalore (@RCBTweets) April 7, 2021 Also Read: North Korea has withdrawn from the Tokyo Olympics to participate Dhoni's Helicopter shot chocolate to be sold in market, this company launched India Olympic Association asked vaccination for Olympic Athletes and Officials
