Iran-Israel Conflict: Trump Warns the World is on the Brink of World War III

As tensions soar in the Middle East, Iran has launched a missile strike against Israel, retaliating for the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. This attack unfolded just hours before the U.S. vice-presidential debate between Democrat Tim Walz and Republican JD Vance, stirring global concerns. Former U.S. President Donald Trump quickly blamed President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, asserting that their policies have pushed the world to the edge of World War III.

Trump emphasized that during his presidency, there were no wars in the Middle East, Europe, or Asia, and inflation was managed effectively. He criticized the current administration, saying, "You wouldn’t trust Joe or Kamala to run a lemonade stand, let alone lead the Free World." He claimed that the Biden-Harris leadership has escalated global tensions, with "the threat of war raging everywhere."

Pointing fingers at Harris, Trump described her as weak on foreign policy, suggesting that Iran benefits from her tenure. He warned that if he were still president, current conflicts like the Ukraine-Russia war and the Afghanistan withdrawal would not have occurred. "If Kamala gets four more years, the world goes up in smoke," he cautioned.

In response to the crisis, President Biden stated that he and Vice President Harris have gathered the national security team to address Iran's missile strike. He assured the nation that the U.S. is ready to support Israel in its defense and safeguard American personnel in the region.

Iran's Fars news agency confirmed that the missile strike was in retaliation for Israel's assassination of both Hezbollah's Nasrallah and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh earlier this year. The situation remains volatile as the conflict escalates.
