It is a matter of pride for me to play for India: Irfan Pathan

Irfan Pathan, Indian Cricket player has recently talked about the conversation with a Pakistani woman when he was asked that why is he playing for India when he is a Muslim. The proud player of India said "It is a matter of pride for me to play for India" when he was touring Pakistan as part of the Indian cricket team.

At an event in Nagpur, while answering a host of questions, the player shared this anecdote and memorized those key moments when he played as a national player for India.

The Baroda all-rounder said, "The conversation with the Pakistani woman motivated me to perform even better through my career."

On a keynote, Pathan in the records has claimed the first-over hat-trick. He last played for India in October 2012 and hopes to wear Indian colors soon. Overall he has played 29 Tests, 120 ODIs and 24 T20Is for Indian Cricket Team.
