When his cricket dream did not come true, Irrfan enrolled in the National School of Drama (NSD) and started learning the nuances of acting. To meet his expenses, he also worked as an air conditioner repairman. Once he got a chance to do repair work at Rajesh Khanna's house. He was very happy after going there and decided in his heart that he would also become an actor.

Name in Bollywood and Hollywood

Irrfan Khan gave many successful films in his 30-year career. He made a name for himself not only in Bollywood but also in Hollywood. He received several awards for his work, such as the National Film Awards and the Asian Film Awards. Irrfan Khan was one of the most successful Bollywood actors. His Hollywood films such as "The Amazing Spider-Man," "Slumdog Millionaire," and "Life of Pi" together grossed around $2.5 billion. At the same time, his Hindi films such as "Hindi Medium," "Piku," and "Gunday" also performed well, taking his total earnings to around Rs 25,000 crore.

Demise and legacy

In 2020, Irrfan Khan battled cancer and passed away at the age of just 53. His son Babil Khan is now carrying forward his legacy.
