Is Pakistan terrorist planning to attack on Parliament?

An intelligence note has indicated that Pakistan terror proxies are planning a threatening, plot to attack the Indian Parliament House. The report intimation that the attack could be far more dangerous than the 2001 Parliament attack, initiated by Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists. At least 14 people lost their lives in the horrific attack. This time, however, the attack on the epicentre of India's democracy could be much more devastating, claims the report.

The note, dated December 21, was handed out to six police commissioners in India. It mentions that there is a threat to historical monuments, Parliament House, places frequented by foreigners, and crowded places. According to the intelligence note, the JeM and LeT are expected to be plotting this attack as well.

The report also elucidates that the terror-mongers are planning to infiltrate and attack India, just as the country gears up to celebrate the spirit of the new year. Commenting on the sinister plot, Maj Gen GD Bakshi (Retd.), Defence Expert, said, "It appears that things in Pakistan are now not even controlled by the army." This year alone, Pakistan has conducted 720 ceasefire violations, apart from other provocations in the form of the behaviour meted to detained Indian Kulbhushan Jadhav.
