Two teams from the sixth season of the Hero Indian Super League - host Hyderabad FC and two-time champions Chennai FC - will play matches at the GMC Balayogi Stadium here today. With five points from 11 matches, the Hyderabad team is in the final position in the table of 10 teams and now they need to win at all costs. Chennai FC are in ninth position with nine points from 10 matches and more or less the same position as the host team. This season has been like a nightmare for the home team. This team has been able to win only one match and its defensive record has been very poor. This team has scored 26 goals so far. This team has not yet received a single clean sheet. In the last match, they were defeated 5–1 by Kerala Blasters and this is the second time this team has to score five goals in any one match. Hyderabad have lost 1-2 to Chennai FC this season, but coach Phil Brown hopes his team will do well in the reverse leg. Brown has been unsuccessful in getting his key players out of injury during the entire season and was recently injured against defender Rafael Lopez Kerala. On the other hand to keep alive their hopes of the top-4, Chennai has to win a win anyway.
