TEL AVIV: Due to rising tensions between Russia and Ukraine, Israel has decided to evacuate Israeli ambassadors and embassy employees from Kyiv. According to the reports, Israel's Foreign Ministry has issued a travel warning, and Israeli visitors to Ukraine are encouraged to leave Kiev. Israelis considering travelling to Ukraine should postpone their plans for the time being, according to the Ministry. "In light of the deteriorating situation in Ukraine, Israeli nationals currently in the country are encouraged to reconsider their stay," the statement said, warning Israelis "to avoid visiting hotspot areas in any event." Following the travel warning, the Ministry announced that it had "decided to evacuate the families of Israeli diplomats and embassy personnel."
