Israel Intensifies Strikes, Kills 21 Hamas Terrorists in Gaza Raid

Jerusalem: Israel has intensified its actions against Islamic terrorist groups, launching heavy bombing raids targeting Hamas in the Gaza Strip and Hezbollah in Lebanon. The Israeli military confirmed that at least 21 Hamas militants were killed in the Gaza attack. Reports suggest that these terrorists were hiding in a mosque, which was also destroyed along with several other nearby buildings.

According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), airstrikes precisely targeted Hamas fighters who were based at a command center located within the premises of Ibn Rushd School in Der al-Balah, central Gaza. Another command center located in the Shuhada al-Aqsa Mosque in the Al-Balah area was also struck. The IDF stated that these command centers were used by Hamas to plan and coordinate attacks against Israel and IDF troops. They emphasized that steps were taken to limit civilian casualties by using precision weaponry and verified intelligence.

In parallel, Israel has also bombed areas in Lebanon’s capital, Beirut. Al Jazeera reported massive explosions in the city, with flames visible in the sky, following more than 30 airstrikes overnight. The southern parts of Beirut, known to be a Hezbollah stronghold, were the primary targets. Israel’s air force reportedly hit several Hezbollah weapon depots and key infrastructure. The IDF noted that residents were warned before the strikes.

Additionally, there are reports that Hashem Safieddin, considered the successor to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, may have been killed in the airstrikes. Al Jazeera, citing a Lebanese security source, mentioned that Hezbollah has lost communication with Safieddin, who leads the group’s executive council.
