IU suffered a hearing ailment on stage at 'The Golden Hour' concert

On September 17 and 18, the soloist IU performed two days of gigs in the Jamsil Olympic Stadium, drawing between 85 and 90 thousand spectators over the course of the two days. UAENAs flocked in droves to "The Golden Hour" to commemorate the singer's 14th anniversary of her debut. IU sang some of her most well-known and adored songs while putting on a spectacular show with elaborate performances that included hot air balloons and other things.

ITZY made their entrance as a special guest on the first day, while Jay Park kept his promise to play his song "GANADARA," which he wrote with IU, on the second day. Favourite members of the industry, such as Jungkook and J-Hope of BTS, Soobin and Beomgyu of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Nayeon of TWICE, actors Kim Soo Hyun, Lee Joon Gi, and Yoo In Na, among many others, were present to witness the magic of IU in action.

The 29-year-old made her fans laugh, sing, and dance before revealing that she has been dealing with hearing problems for a while. This devastating information was then shared with her followers by IU. She mentioned the songs for the show were challenging to write and continued by expressing her anxiety. IU said that she was well and that the problem stemmed from her inability to properly regulate her ears rather than anything more serious.

According to the singer, who felt her condition deteriorate on the second day after singing with all of her might the previous night, the problem had been present for almost a year. It was a performance to remember because she was the first female K-pop artist to perform alone at the Jamsil Sports Complex's main stadium.
