Ivana Trump: One who just can't identify as Mrs. Donald Trump

US: Donald Trump's ex-wife Ivana passed away on Thursday in the afternoon. She was 73.

Ivana Trump was much more than just Mrs. Trump. she was a clever businesswoman, an athlete, a writer, a multifaceted clothing and jewellery designer, and above all, a proud mother who was adored by her children. Her high-profile marriage to the former president propelled her into the spotlight in the late 1970s.

She was the sole child of Marie, a telephone operator, and Milos an engineer who passed away in 1990. Born as Ivana Marie Zelnková in Zlin, a factory town in then-Communist Czechoslovakia. Ivana was a member of the national ski team when she was younger, and the sport served as the metaphor for her life.

Ivana married Austrian skier Alfred Winklmayr to obtain a western passport after earning a master's degree in physical education from Charles University in Prague.

Two years after their breakup Ivana moved to Montreal and started modelling. She met Donald in 1976 while on a shoot in New York City. Nine months after getting engaged, they got married and eventually had three kids: younger son Eric, younger daughter Ivanka, and older son Donald Jr.

Ivanka trump said to PEOPLE news in 2016 that her mother was her inspiration. "The ideal role model was she. Although it was always clear to us that we were her top priority, this did not mean we had access to her around the clock."

Ivana assumed leadership positions in some of the Trump companies while she and Donald were still married, including serving as CEO of Trump's Castle in Atlantic City. The reality star-turned-politician referred to Ivana as a "great manager" and described her as "demanding and very competitive" in his book, Trump: The Art of the Deal.

She also served as the first woman to hold the position of president of the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan and was responsible for designing the interiors of the Grand Hyatt and Trump Tower.

Ivana started dating rich Italian businessman Riccardo Mazzucchelli a little more than a year after she and Donald split up in 1992. Despite the fact that he faithfully followed her at conventions and shopping centres and had signed a prenup before their 1995 wedding, the relationship ended 20 months later.

After six years of dating, Ivana eventually got tied her knot to Italian actor Rossano Rubicondi in April 2008.

the former couple divorced less than a year after getting married in Palm Beach, Florida. Ivana was his caretaker while he was ill for the last year of his life. however,  At the age of 49, he passed away in 2021. 

She also started her own lifestyle publication, Ivana's Living in Style, and from 1995 to 2010, she contributed a column for Globe called "Ask Ivana."

Ivana was a well-known fashion and jewellery designer in addition to being a writer. According to her 2017 autobiography, Raising Trump, House of Ivana products, including fragrances, were sold on QVC London and the Home Shopping Network (HSN) and brought in "tens of millions" for Ivana.

Ivana attended countless runway shows and opulent events over the years and not only had a sizable stake in the home-shopping sector, she was also an avid fashion enthusiast.

Ivana had a successful career throughout her life, but she always considered being a loving mother to be one of her greatest achievements.
