Rajasthan: Heavy rain warning in many districts after Jaipur

Monsoon activity remains constant in Rajasthan. The rainy season continues in various areas. The weather department has also predicted heavy rains in many cities for Tuesday. The department has issued Orange Alert for one and a half dozen cities. Heavy rains have been warned in many areas of these districts. An alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rain warning in 3 cities.

The weather department has declared an orange alert for 15 cities of the state on Tuesday. According to the weather forecast, there are chances of rain at many places in Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer Udaipur, and Kota division. Apart from these, heavy rains are expected with thunderstorms in the cities of Baran, Bharatpur, Bundi, Dausa, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Karauli, Kota, Rajsamand, Sawaimadhopur, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh and Sriganganagar.

The weather department has issued an extremely heavy rain alert for 3 cities of the state. The weather department has warned of heavy rains at one or two places in Alwar, Jhunjhunu and Sikar cities. The weather remained calm in Jaipur on Monday. Although, there were black clouds several times a day, but it did not rain. Scattered drizzle occurred in many parts of the city later in the afternoon. Due to this, the weather remained cool. It is known that the monsoon in Rajasthan has gained momentum for the last ten days. Last Friday, the rain in the capital Jaipur broke the record for years. The rain had created flood conditions in Gulabinagar. There was a heavy loss due to rain. This damage is still being assessed. Due to heavy rains, there has also been an increase in rainfed accidents.
