Two LeT terrorists killed in Pulwama encounter, one Indian soldier injured

Srinagar: The encounter between security forces and militants in Pulwama district of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir started on Sunday evening continued till Monday morning. On Monday, Indian security forces stacked up two militants of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba after the encounter, but an army soldier was wounded by a bullet.

The injured jawan has been admitted to the nearby hospital for treatment. A search operation is still going on in the area. Giving information, a police officer has told that secret information was received about the presence of some terrorists in Sambura of Avantipura sector of South Kashmir. On the basis of the information, Indian security forces started besieging the area with the help of a team of CRPF and local police. On the basis of information, security forces surrounded the area and search operation was conducted there.

Giving information, he has said that the security forces were running the search operation in the area that during this time the terrorists opened fire on them. They have told that, the security forces also retaliated and fired. Firing continued throughout the night. On Monday morning, the security forces have piled up two terrorists. Both terrorists are being told about Lashkar.
