Baramula: An encounter between security forces and militants has started in Yedipora village under Pattan area in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. Firing is being done from both sides. Security forces have surrounded the entire area from all sides. The police of Kashmir zone have given information by tweeting that the encounter has started in Yedipora of Pattan area in Baramulla. Police and security forces are currently standing on the front. While giving information, a police officer said that the search operation was carried out during midnight by a joint team of police, 29 RR and CRPF on the news of the presence of terrorists in Yedipora. He said that the terrorists hiding started firing on the joint team of security forces when the suspicious place was cordoned off. He said that after firing by the terrorists, the security forces also retaliated and after that, the encounter started on both sides. According to the information given by police sources, two to three terrorists are trapped in the security cordon. However, only after the operation is complete, the exact number of terrorists captured will be known.
