JK: LG Manoj Sinha urges MEA to bring Kashmiri professors trapped in Kabul

Jammu: LG Manoj Sinha has recently urged Minister of State for External Affairs V Muralitharan to immediately evacuate the professors of Kulgam trapped in Kabul. In fact, recently, he said, "We are in touch with the families of professors here. We hope they'll return home soon.'' In fact, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha had recently raised the issue of evacuation of two Kashmiri professors trapped in Afghanistan in view of the deteriorating situation in the country following Taliban occupation.

Minister of State Muralidharan had also assured Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha that the government is working hard to bring back all Indian nationals from Afghanistan. All of you must know that last Sunday, the whole of Afghanistan has come under the control of the Taliban. In fact, a week has been like a 'black week' for the people of Afghanistan. As a result, the concerns of India's neighbor Afghanistan continue to grow. Amidst all this, other countries are bringing back their own people trapped in Afghanistan.
