In order to help the poor at the time of Covid-19 crisis, the government had announced to send 500 rupees every month to the accounts of women Jan Dhan account holders for three months. Sitharaman announced this on 26 March. Financial Services Secretary Debashish Panda gave information about sending the installment for the month of May. He said that keeping in mind that there is no rush in the branches of banks, a time table has been developed, under which women Jan Dhan account holders can withdraw money from banks based on the last digit of the bank account. Modi government promotes ‘plug and play infrastructure’ to attract investment According to this time table, the last issue of women Jan Dhan account holders whose account is zero or one, they can withdraw the second installment on May 4. The accounts that finally get two or three digits, they can withdraw money on May 5 under this scheme. Similarly, people whose last digit of account is four or five, they will get money on May 6. Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) account holders whose account numbers are going to expire from numbers six and seven can withdraw the second installment on May 8. People whose last digits of the account are number eight and nine, they will get the second installment on May 11. Take care of this before giving loan guarantee On this matter, Panda tweeted on Saturday, "Under the Prime Minister's Poor Welfare Package, women PMJDY beneficiaries are being sent an installment of Rs 500 for the month of May. Beneficiaries are requested to follow the given schedule before going to banks or CSPs for withdrawal of money. Money can also be withdrawn through ATMs and bank assistants."
