Jawa Bikes Lovers will be able to buy dual channel ABS motorcycles from this month

From this month, Java Motorcycle Dual Channel is going to start delivering ABS motorcycles. Java Motorcycles was launched in November 2018 and since then the waiting period for Java bikes in many cities in the country is 3 to 6 months. Java Bikes is being built at Mahindra's Pithampur plant. So far, there is no information as to how many Java bikes have been built so far.

The new Bober style bike Perak will be launched by the end of this year, with a single seat and only black. The Perak gets a 334cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine with 30PS power and 31Nm of torque. It will get a 6-speed transmission. The speciality of the Perak is that it will get Pirelli tyres with dual channel ABS, while the ex-showroom is priced at Rs 1.89 lakh. Java, on the other hand, has not revealed how many bikes they have received from customers so far. From November 2018 to March 2019, only 255 Java bikes were manufactured or delivered.

 

For your information, Java Standard comes in maroon, gray and black colors, while Java 42 joins in 6 colors. Both the bikes come with a 293cc single cylinder 4-stroke liquid-cooled DOHC engine producing 27bhp and 28Nm of torque. This engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox. Java's ARAI certified mileage is 37.5 km/litre and both bikes have telescopic hydraulic suspension. The x-showroom price of Java with single channel ABS and rear drum brakes is Rs 1.64 lakh and the Java 42 is priced at Rs 1.55 lakh. The price can range from Rs 1.72 lakh to Rs 1.64 lakh for the dual ABS system.
