JNVs to open from August 31 with 50% capacity

New Delhi: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) has been decided to resume from August 31 for students from class IX to XII following a decline in corona infection cases in the country. According to information released by the Union Ministry of Education, Navodaya Vidyalaya has been stipulated to be reopened with a capacity of 50 percent.

The Ministry of Education has informed that Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has announced a phased reopening of students from class IX to XII with a capacity of 50% from August 31. It is under notification from states and Union Territories allowing schools to open under special guidelines. Students can join offline classes in Navodaya Vidyalayas from August 31. However, staying in the hostel will be allowed only with the consent of parents.

At the same time, online classes will continue. Counseling will also be arranged to ensure the mental and physical health of students. Tell you that Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is a residential school where both students and girls study together. It belongs to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
