Jennifer Aniston is no stranger to beauty experimentation, and her latest skincare adventure is creating quite the buzz. The Morning Show actress recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where she addressed rumors about trying a salmon sperm facial to maintain youthful-looking skin.
Laughing as she confirmed the rumor, Aniston explained, "I did, but let me clarify — it's not like you're extracting sperm from a salmon. It was unclear how they did it, and I just trusted the expert's word and went along with it." She further described the treatment, revealing that it involves microneedling, which helps push the ingredient into the skin. Jokingly, she added, “Don’t I look like a salmon? Don’t I have beautiful salmon skin?”
Aniston first shared this unusual beauty regimen in a previous interview, where she expressed her willingness to try "almost anything" to keep her skin looking youthful. She admitted that when her aesthetician suggested the treatment, her initial reaction was one of disbelief, asking, “Are you serious? How do you even get salmon sperm?”
Though the facial is said to boost collagen production and increase cell turnover, Aniston remained skeptical about its long-term benefits. Shortly after Aniston's confession, Kim Kardashian revealed she had also tried the same treatment, although she didn’t share much about her experience or the results.
